Family Room Tour

View into the foyer.  The chandelier was found at a yard sale.
The front door has been replaced - can see the transformation here.
A basket for summer shoes and a pedestal fit perfect without overwhelming
but provide plenty of utility for things to wait for their return to the library.

Looking past a sentiment into the family room.


We replaced the bulbous track lights with singular brass and opaque glass sconces.



A 1940's sideboard given the same base grey.

The sconces from the living room are now here side by side.

Each book shelf said take me home at various sales until we had enough.


Each with their own character and details.

Old brass bifold doors have since been replaced with black cabinet style doors.

Coffee table, painted out white, also found at Salvation Army.

Arm & Hammer poster promoting bird identification and safety to protect our crops from insects.

If only it were so easy - alas this feature didn't come with our 1965 Ranch home.
