Sun Porch Transformation

Remember the great Sun Porch Chairs we found and painted?

Well, take a seat, relax and enjoy these pics - the Sun Porch is finally done!

Now contrary to what one might think, one of our biggest inspirations wasn't Ms. Rachel Ashwell's Shabby Chic - although the ceiling of Liliput Lodge at the Prarie in this post did influence us to stain the ceiling and we will be going to Rachel's SoHo book signing.

But the biggest source of inspiration and visual study came from Morning T and her sun porch reveal post.   We're still searching for the magical day bed but the lounge and deacon's bench are fantastic in the meanwhile.

We loved the scale of the serene flying pterodactyl over the house.

If one of us were on hoarders, we would be surrounded by barometers!

Pimms No. 1 is such a summer treat!

Believe it or not but this chair, found on the side of the road,
has a true Stickley metal stamp on the bottom!

We even found a "Morning T" pillow.

The footstool came with the chairs but we left it the natural wood since it had metal feet.

Its like one of those images you see in toast or a taco!
